The version 3.17.1 of the platform is now deployed:
- The macromolecular systems detection tool MacSyFinder has been updated to version 2.1.2 (Néron et al., 2023). The systems detection method has been significantly improved in this version. Moreover, we now detect a wide range of secretion and conjugative systems, which are respectively described in TXSScan models version 1.1.3 (https://github.com/macsy-models/TXSScan) and CONJScan models version 2.0.1 (https://github.com/macsy-models/CONJScan).
- The defense systems detection tool DefenseFinder has also been updated to version 1.2.2 (https://github.com/mdmparis/defense-finder). This version uses MacSyFinder 2.1.2 to detect a broad range of anti-phage and CRISPR-Cas systems, described in DefenseFinder models version 1.2.4 (https://github.com/mdmparis/defense-finder-models) and CasFinder models version 3.1.0 (https://github.com/macsy-models/CasFinder) respectively.
We also corrected a few bugs
