Three research engineer positions are currently available at the LABGeM (Laboratory of Bioinformatics Analyses for Genomics and Metabolism).
The LABGeM is one of the bioinformatics labs of the Genoscope (CEA, French Genome Institute) located in Evry (35 kms south of Paris). Our areas of expertise are the conception of bioinformatics methods and information systems for the exploration of microbial genomics data.
Reinforce our core competencies in software development in the context of two innovative projects:
The MicroScope platform offers to an international community of microbiologists (more than 2,600 user accounts) a computational environment for collaborative annotation and exploration of microbial genomes.
PathoTRACK is an integrated software for the analysis of Next Generation Sequencing DNA reads to identify and characterize biological threat agents in complex samples from various origin (air, water, clinical…). The project aims to strengthen French operational capability in the context of NRBC applications.
