New MicroScope professional trainings

Following the success of our four-day training course «Annotation and analysis of prokaryotic genomes using the MicroScope platform» and to fulfill the demands of our users we have set up 2 new short thematic trainings focused on metabolism and transcriptomics. Next training sessions will be held on november 2013.

The first thematic training on metabolism «Bacterial Metabolic Network Prediction, Annotation and Comparison» is aimed at presenting all MicroScope tools dedicated to metabolism exploration and annotation as well as external resources which can be used to enhance metabolic pathways understanding. Note that the four-day training course training «Annotation and analysis of prokaryotic genomes using the MicroScope platform» is a pre-requisite to follow this training.

The second thematic training « RNA-Seq Analyses using the MicroScope Platform » is aimed at presenting how to get the most of  transcriptomics data using the Microscope TAMARA tool.

Next MicroScope training sessions will be all held on November 2013:

  • «Annotation and analysis of prokaryotic genomes using the MicroScope platform»

Tuesday 5th November 2013 – Friday 8th November 2013
Price: 1200€ (Includes all training materials and lunches for 4 days).

  • «Bacterial Metabolic Network Prediction, Annotation and Comparison»

Tuesday 12th November 2013 – Wednesday 13th November 2013
Price: 750€ (Includes all training materials and lunches for 2 days).

  • « RNA-Seq Analyses using the MicroScope Platform »

Thursday 14th November 2013 – Friday 15th November 2013
Price: 600€ (Includes all training materials and lunch for 1.5 days).

All sessions will take place at Evry University which is in charge of the training course organization. Exceptionally, external training sessions can be scheduled on demand, in France or abroad. In this case the University of Evry will deliver a quotation.
