The MicroScope team was delighted to present a poster at JOBIM 2026, giving a comprehensive overview of the MicroScope platform and highlighting its latest developments.

JOBIM (Journées Ouvertes en Biologie, Informatique et Mathématiques), held this year in Strasbourg, France, is the leading French annual conference at the interface of biology, computer science, mathematics, and physics — a key gathering for the french bioinformatics community.

This year, we presented a poster giving a comprehensive overview of the MicroScope platform and its latest developments, including new tools for the analysis of antimicrobial resistance, secondary metabolites, and defense systems, advanced pangenome analyses powered by the PPanGGOLiN software suite, as well as MicroScope’s long-standing capabilities for metabolic network exploration, comparative genomics, collaborative annotation, and academic training — supporting thousands of users in microbial genome research worldwide.

Beyond the poster, JOBIM was a valuable opportunity to connect with the community, exchange ideas, discuss emerging challenges in microbial genomics, and collect feedback from users and collaborators. We thank everyone who stopped by and showed interest in the platform.

Couldn’t make it to Strasbourg? The poster is available here.
